I had purchased replacement tubing and mask for my AirMini. When it arrived the tubing did not connect to the mask. I called the vendor from whom I purchased it and got an automated answering system. I then called ResMed and a live person answered my call. She listened to my description of my issue and quickly diagnosed my problem.

I am able to use the standard (not heated) tubing from my Airsense 11 on my AirMini. Works well - a little worried about the length of the connection (could break) - but so far no problems after several trips.

I couldn’t use the headgear and nasal pillows I bought with mini. I have a large head and the straps were inadequate and the nasal pillow was crushed to my face. This adapter allowed me to use my original headgear. Also had to buy flexible tubing to fit it as well.

I am so very thankful to Respshop for enlightening me to the Airmini Cpap Tubing connector adapter! I have wanted to purchase an AirMini for so long as I travel a lot. Each time I consider purchasing it, I would give up on the idea because of the mask set up design Resmed has with this travel cpap. I have used CPAP therapy for many years. My biggest hurdle was the mask. I just could not find one that would work. Eventually I found the Fisher & Paykel Vitera mask. It changed everything for me! I was able to use therapy each night. I did not remove my mask in the night. I did not have any skin breakdown from over-tightening like I did with the other mask's headgear. The Vitera full face mask is my mask for life! I just can't use any other mask. So I could not use the AirMini as I was unwilling to switch to the list of required masks to do so. UNTIL Respshop gave me the option of the Airmini tubing connector adapter! Like magic, this adapter allows you to use the Airmini with any mask you want! Brilliant.

I love that I can use my favourite mask without needing the extra set up pack for the Air Mini. It is a little device that connects my regular non heated tubing to the Air Mini. The Air Mini normally uses a smaller tube; it will not connect to masks that are not specialty masks. These masks are designed for the Air Mini called the Mask Set up packs, which are all Resmed Masks. I prefer the F&P Evora mask myself, so this connector allows me to use other masks not made by Resmed. It is easy to use you attach the connector to your tubing and then stick the connector into the Air Mini, like you would the tubing. The only issue is you cannot use heated tubing with the Air Mini nor have humidification without the set packs. A great cheap little device to give you as many options as possible to be able to sleep why travelling as well as in your home bed. I would recommend for all Air Mini uses to have one even with the set up pack as a back up why your mask/Air mini tubing is drying after cleaning or waiting on a replacement part.

I had been wanting to buy an AirMini for a long time but the limited suite of masks approved for use with it held me back. But this adapter made it all possible, and I'm glad I stumbled upon it. I have found that the AirMini is louder than my Airsense 10 and believe this adapter contributes to this situation. Regardless, the benefit of being able to use a mask of my choosing far outweighs the increased noise.
