Intake Filter for EverFlo & EverFlo Q Oxygen Concentrators

This Intake Filter processes air as it enters the Philips EverFlo or EverFlo Q Oxygen Concentrator. The clear case allows for easy inspection of the internal air intake filter. This air intake filter should be replaced every two years.

To replace the filter, remove the filter panel which is located on the back of the concentrator. You may need to use a coin or a flat-head screwdriver to pry open the filter panel. Remove the used air filter and insert the new filter. Replace the filter panel, making sure it is firmly inserted.

1–2 of 2 Questions
Q. Is this an original manufacturer part or a universal or "style" product that simply "fits" the Respironics concentrators?
A. Yes and this will fit the Respironics Everflo oxygen concentrator.
Q. I’m unclear as to where the filter goes? Can you send a diagram.
A. Hi there, this filters goes in the back of the concentrator. You have to remove the little door in the back using a key or flathead screwdriver. See the bottom left corner of photo: https://www.respshop.com/image.php?src=images%2FPhilips-Respironics%2FBrochure-oxy.png&width=1120

Subject: Respironics Everflo Intake filter
My husband was diagnosed with COPD almost two years ago. We purchased a Respironics Everflo 5 litre oxygen concentrator for him to use in our home. We have carried on using the concentrator every day since it arrived in our home. The supply company went out of business and we were no longer receiving replacement oxygen tubing. I went online to find a new supplier. Lucky for us we found Respshop. Their website was so easy to navigate and I found the oxygen tubing easily enough. I also found our Everflo Oxygen concentrator on their website as well. I decided to read all of the information on the page. That's how I discovered there is an intake filter on this concentrator! No one had ever told us about this filter before. I did not know where it even went. I called Respshop and spoke to the Respiratory Therapist. I learned the filter should be replaced every two years. She helped me locate the filter on the concentrator and explained how to exchange the filter. It was filthy! My goodness. I am so glad Respshop made me aware and shipped me out a new filter and some tubing.
