ResMed AirFit F30 Full Face Hybrid CPAP Mask

The AirFit F30 Full Face Mask by ResMed sports many improvements over traditional full face CPAP masks. Unlike a traditional full face which covers the nose, the F30 instead cradles it from underneath with a soft silicone cushion which will eliminate red marks, and irritation on the bridge of your nose.

This makes it a good mask for those who are claustrophobic or often have trouble getting a good fit with a traditional full face. On this mask, there is no strap that goes directly across the forehead. This will keep the user's view unobstructed. No forehead strap combined with the cushion cradled underneath the nose makes it a great option for those who wear glasses.

Multi-Pack

For the same price as one mask, you will receive 3 cushions (1 with the mask, and 2 extras) of the same size. This is only for a limited time; the packs are available in size small and medium.

Plush, Five-Way Adjustable Headgear with Magnetic Clips
The AirFit F30 also possesses five-way adjusting straps to give the user the best fit possible. On the bottom straps, there are magnetic quick release tabs that allow putting on and pulling off the mask a breeze. This makes it a great mask for all users, especially for those who have limited hand motion.

This mask has been made with one-size-fits-all headgear. Due to the five-way adjustable straps, it is easy to adjust the headgear to fit you perfectly. The dimensions of the headgear are as follows: Upper straps - 9 inches and the lower straps - 11 inches.

Quick Release Elbow and Quiet Air Tube
Making the mask even easier to take off, a quick release Quiet Air elbow allows for late-night bathroom breaks. This same elbow swivels, allowing for a full range of motion during sleep. This tube also utilizes Quiet Air vent technology created by ResMed. This allows for a peaceful sleep for both you and your bed partner.

Minimalist cushion
The ultra compact cushion cradles the nose from underneath while still creating a secure seal. The feelings of claustrophobia will be eliminated with this mask design due to ResMed creating the full face cushion as minimal as possible. Due to this design, the mask also makes less facial marks, as there is minimal contact on the face.

The AirFIt F30 fitting for this minimal-contact full face mask come in a size small and medium. Medium is the average cushion size and will fit most people. The cushion is sold separately, so you will be able to replace as needed. However, remember that your mask should be replaced around every 6 months.

Key Features:

FAQ

What is the difference between the AirFit F20 and F30 Full Face Masks?
The main difference between these two masks is the cushion. The AirFit F20 does not cradle the nose below the cushion; instead, it is more like a traditional full face mask, where it sits on the bridge of your nose. The ResMed F30 cradles the nose, which could help with comfort and less skin irritations.

The F30 also has an adjustment at the top of the headgear, which helps the user get a comfortable, stable, and perfect fit every time. The F20 does not have this adjustment.

With these factors in mind, the AirFit F30 has a more unique innovative design because of the multiple adjustment points on the headgear as well as the minimalist cushion.

Is this mask compatible with my tubing and machine?
The ResMed AirFit F30 will be compatible with most CPAP machines and tubing.

Which mask should I get?
From your clinical study, you may know which mask they used and what you liked and disliked about it. If you breathe through your nose and mouth, then the AirFit F30 would be a good option for you due to the minimal hardware on the user’s face.

How do I setup AirFit F30 with AirMini?
Remove and replace the original mask elbow on your AirFit F30 with the AirMini F20 connector elbow. AirFit F30 and F20 share the same connector elbow, which is found in the AirMini mask setup pack for AirFit F20.

Please note: Mask Frame and Headgear are one size fits most.

This mask is better for me than nasal cushion masks or full face masks. Easy on and easy off. Only problem is silicone absorbs facial oil if not cleaned daily.

Subject: mask
I have had two of these now and have had the same two problems each time. The good first nice fit, very quiet, comfortable head gear, magnetic straps and quick release a major plus. The bad the cushion on the bridge of the nose has a thin spot that wears out quickly if you are not very careful it will tear. Next is the head gear it fits great but the Velcro has a VERY SHORT life span.

I am sorry this happened. Please contact us so we can assist you with this!

I was excited to try this mask. However, once I used it, I found that it pulls back on the nose. My nose is so sore, It makes it hard to sleep. After trying numerous different strap settings, I have given up and going back to the AirFit F20 mask.

* Thank you for reaching out! We do offer a Mask Assurance Policy should you not like your mask. Please contact us so we can get this resolved! I highly recommend the F30I by Resmed and I find this one very comfortable.
