With improved comfort and performance features, the Respironics System One Series Auto CPAP 560 Machine is an advanced auto CPAP for all of your sleep apnea therapy needs. Using the System One Flex Technology, the Respironics System One Series Auto CPAP 560 Machine will deliver the lowest amount of pressure that you need while undergoing sleep apnea therapy. Flex Family Technology
With three levels of relief, C-Flex technology will provide optimal CPAP therapy at the lowest amount of pressure. You will receive effective sleep apnea therapy without pressure and discomfort. During exhalation, the Respironics System One APAP will lower pressure, which will help with comfort and allow for you to sleep uninterrupted during CPAP therapy. C-Flex will monitor each breath and lower the pressure on a breath by breath basis, returning to normal pressure settings upon inhale.
Respironics Resistance Control
Your Respironics CPAP Machine will automatically adjust pressure dependent upon the mask so that a constant pressure will be delivered to your mask that will optimize the performance and reduce discomfort during use. Respironics algorithm was created to detect the resistance of all types of CPAP masks and will automatically adjust, even if you were to purchase and use a new kind of mask so that your pressure at the mask is always at its peak performance level.
Humidification and Optional Heated Tube
CPAP humidifiers were designed to be a comfort feature, helping deliver consistent temperature toward your mask, reducing rainout and excess moisture even in the most extreme climates. The Respironics System One Humidifier has three levels of humidity that allow for you to choose your perfect setting, or change, on a daily basis to counteract the temperature changes. The optional heated tubing has five different temperature levels, from four degrees to sixteen degrees, which will deliver a constant temperature from the tube to your mask. Heated tubing can reduce or eliminate the moisture in your tube and mask area, which will reduce the effect known as "rainout" during CPAP therapy. Rainout can cause discomfort, most notably a dry nasal passage or a sore throat after use.

Reviewers Tip:
When removing the water chamber from the humidifier, note that the top of the humidifier will only open to a 45 degree angle, if you force it you risk that you may snap the top off. Slide the water chamber towards your body to remove safely. From there, you can empty the excess water, clean the chamber, which is recommended daily to prevent foreign materials from building up, and then refill, preferably with distilled water.

How often should I be replacing the filters?
There are two different types of filters for Respironics System One 60 Series CPAP machines, one is disposable and cannot be cleaned, and you should replace this filter every six to twelve weeks dependent upon the environment in which your machine is used. If it is extremely dusty, you may have to replace the filters more often. There is also a washable filter that can be cleaned and reused. We recommended that you clean the filter weekly and then replace it every six months or so. Dirty filters will affect your CPAP therapy.
Will any type of CPAP mask work with this machine?
All CPAP masks and CPAP machines, as well as the tubing, have standardized cuff sizes that allow for you to purchase any type of mask after purchasing a machine. For this reason, masks do not come with your machine purchases, giving you the freedom to choose the type of mask you find most comfortable and most effective. We have a large amount of masks available broken into different categories.
How do I know if I need a fixed pressure CPAP or an auto CPAP?
Usually that will be discussed between you and your doctor, dependent upon your needs. We have customer service available that can help you with your selection between the two. Fixed pressure means that your pressure will be set on one setting and will not change throughout the night. Auto CPAP machines will automatically adjust your pressure on a breath by breath basis. You should consult with your doctor to see what type of machine might be best for you if you are a first time CPAP therapy user.

Your technician was very nice in helping me set up my prescribed pressures over the phone. He made it seem so easy, so I played with the buttons and now I'm an expert at it too! If anyone would like me to set up your CPAP, just call me, just kidding.
The DS560TS with the humidifier and heated tubing keeps me comfortable while breathing in pressurized air. Its dry box technology prevents my machine from water damage even if I was turned upside down, which I did once. Nothing happened, no water spilled no damaged machine. The Resistance Control technology allows me to use any mask, and I have two. They work smoothly. No complaint there. Good machine to aid me in my sleep and helps improve my overall health outlook.
The heated tubing really does its job. I found practically no moisture in the tube when waking up in the morning. Respironics designed it to do exactly what it supposed to do, so the air is delivered just right during the night, not too dry and not too moist, just perfect. One nice thing about Respshop is they provided an entire year of disposable filters so I shan't worry about getting them from time to time. No other store would provide these filters for a purchase of this machine. Nice touch there Respshop!
I am in the immediate market for an APAP replacement (via two recent sleep studies)for an older ResMed Respironics CPAP.
I have repeatedly complained to the Respshop and have received no satisfaction, no offer for replacement (this was discovered in 1st week of usage) or no refund, or repair.
Just to make matters worse I bought days before Black Friday for full price and no price protection was provided to compensate me.
Any future purchases I will have for machines and accessories will be done elsewhere as Respshop has lost my future business due to they inaction and indifference regarding this problem.
