1x AirSense/AirCurve 10 ClimateLineAir Oxy Tubing

ClimateLineAir Oxy Tubing for AirSense 10 and AirCurve 10 by ResMed

This ClimateLineAir Oxy Tubing is designed for use with all ResMed AirSense 10 and AirCurve 10 CPAP and BiPAP machines. Featuring a built-in oxygen port, the heated ClimateLineAir Oxy Tubing seamlessly integrates supplemental oxygen while maintaining a comfortable temperature and humidity level throughout the night. The tubing has a 19mm inner diameter and standard 22mm diameter cuffs, making it compatible with all masks.

Adjustable Tube Temperature
When connected to the AirSense/AirCurve 10, the ClimateLineAir Oxy tubing activates Climate Control, ResMed's smart humidification system designed to maintain consistent temperature and humidity levels. The temperature within the ClimateLineAir Oxy Tubing can be set to auto for a comfortable 80°F (27°C) or manually adjusted within the range of 60-86°F (16-30°C). The ClimateLineAir Oxy Tubing uses its advanced temperature-sensing technology to maintain a consistent temperature throughout the length of the tube, thereby preventing condensation buildup that causes rainout.

What is the difference between the ClimateLineAir Tubing and ClimateLineAir Oxy Tubing?
Both the ClimateLineAir Tubing and ClimateLineAir Oxy Tubing are heating tubing designed exclusively for the ResMed AirSense/AirCurve 10 series of machines. When connected, both tubing enable Climate Control which minimizes humidity and temperature adjustments during therapy and prevents condensation buildup. However, the ClimateLineAir Oxy Tubing is specifically designed for use with oxygen therapy. The integrated oxygen port eliminates the need to connect an oxygen adapter to the mask which can add additional weight to the circuit.

Why Do You Need a Heated Tube?

Heated CPAP tubing serves one primary purpose: preventing moisture buildup in the tube. The heated and humidified air from your CPAP machine cools as it travels from the machine to your face, leading to condensation buildup that, in extreme cases, result in water sloshing around in your hose and mask. If there is a draft nearby (e.g., you sleep with a fan on or near the window), or if you sleep with the AC on, the odds of this happening is even greater.

Condensation in your CPAP tubing is a problem as air flowing past the water droplets can create loud popping sounds that disrupt your sleep. Excess condensation or rainout can result in water splashing onto your face or even into your nose!

Using a heated hose solves these problems because the heated hose helps maintain a constant temperature throughout your CPAP circuit. This temperature control insulates the air inside the tubing from the cooler temperature in its surroundings. As an added bonus, you can even adjust the temperature in the heated hose for your comfort, making this a great upgrade to the standard hose!

Q. I just got a oxygen concentrator. I use a ResMed bipap machine. I use a heated hose. Can this hose connect the oxygen bleeder line and allow the heated hose to heat?
A. Hi there, oxygen can be connected to your device tubing by attaching this oxygen enrichment adapter between your mask and tube: https://www.respshop.com/oxygen-concentrators/nasal-cannulas/sunset-healthcare-oxygen-enrichment-adapter-p-817.html
Q. Will this hose work with the Resmed air curve 10
A. Yes, it will.
Q. https://www.respshop.com/cpap-supplies/tubing/resmed-climatelineair-oxy-tubing-airsense-10-p-1061.html

I am looking for this hose that fits an air sence 11. It needs to have 02 bleed in.
A. We do not have an Oxy CPAP tubing for AirSense 11 but you can get this one as an alternative:
Sunset Healthcare Oxygen Enrichment Adapter: https://www.respshop.com/oxygen-concentrators-nebulizer/nasal-cannulas/sunset-healthcare-oxygen-enrichment-adapter-p-817.html
Q. Does Medicare cover The Climate Air 10 OXY heated tubing?
A. You would need to contact your insurance regarding coverage or reimbursement first before placing an order as we cannot bill insurance directly.

Be sure to confirm with your insurance company these questions:
1. Do you accept a paper claim?
2. What documentation will I need to send with my claim?
3. Will I need to add any modifiers to my claim?
4. May I purchase the CPAP machine and still have it covered?
5. Is RespShop in-network or will I be paying out of pocket for this claim?
Q. Has ResMed made the Oxy cord for the Airsense 11 yet? I was just switched to the airsense 11 and I use oxygen but the adapters are too bulky.
A. Unfortunately, we have not been advised by ResMed as to when they will develop an oxy cord for the ResMed Airsense 11. We hope soon. If you need the heated tubing you can place a enrichment adapter model # RES019 between your hose and your mask for some humidification.
Q. This tube internal diameter is greater than the heated tube without oxygen port? Should I change any setting to compensate the change in internal diameter?
A. no you will not need to change anything.
Q. Will the ResMed ClimateLineAir heated tubing work with the AirSense 11?
A. According to ResMed documentation, this tubing won't be compatible with the AirSense 11. It requires the ClimateLineAir 11.

This is a hard to find hose. I guess the Oxygen must not be needed by many. I need it and this is the only place I found it. Very high quality. Shipping was fast. I will be back for future purchases.
