CPAP Hose

CPAP tubing can be heated or nonheated. Nonheated tubing or standard tubing is universal to all CPAP machines and masks. You can use a ResMed nonheated tubing with a Fisher and Paykel CPAP machine and a Philips mask.

Nonheated tubing comes in two diameters: 22mm and 15mm. The diameter difference is about the weight of the tube. The flex-fit ends are still universal to all CPAP machines and CPAP masks. CPAP tubing is all latex-free and the standard length is 6 feet. Try a tubing wrap!

Heated tubes are CPAP machine specific. Every CPAP machine has its own heated tubing. You cannot interchange heated tubing between machines but you can use them with any mask. The flex-fit end will work with all masks. Heated tubing eliminates hose rainout from high humidity settings.

CPAP tubing, whether heated or standard, needs to be washed weekly to stay on top of any bacteria growth. Always hang your tube to dry if any moisture is noted. Try the CPAP tubing brush!
