Designed for ResMed AirSense 11 and AirCurve 11 series, this side cover automatically disables the humidifier when inserted into the water chamber slot. Simply remove the Air11 HumidAir Water Tub from the machine and insert the side cover in its place.

Q. How do you clean the Side Cover?

A. Simply wipe off with a warm water cloth. You are not using humidification so there is no moisture inside to cause bacteria. No need to take it apart.
Q. I just recieved the side cover yesterday for the Airsense 11 and washed it. I can’t get all the water out. Is there a way to disassemble it so I can dry the inside. A lot of water is trapped in there. I keep shaking it around and water keeps coming out and I can hear that there is still water in there.

A. Yes, Resmed made a side cover for the latest CPAP Airsense 11 too. It is item #39226 for your convenience.
Q. When using the side cover without the humidifier, do I need to remove it and wash it weekly as one does with the humidifier?
A. Yes, it is a good idea to wash the side cover. At least once a month, ensure it is completely dry prior to placing it back into the unit.

A. Yes it replaces the water chamber and will decrease the length.
Q. What benefits do I get from using this cover? Can’t I just turn the humidifier off and not add water?
A. Yes you can. By using the side cover, you can remove the water chamber permanently and it makes the unit smaller and you do not have to worry about cleaning the chamber.
Q. Will the Resmed Airsense 11 still function with this cover when not using the humidifier insert?
A. Yes, the Airsense 11 will work when the side cover is in place of the humidifier chamber.
Q. How much does this cover weigh? More or less than the empty water reservoir?

I’m new to the CPAP machine and had received one with the humidifier which I don’t like. So I was spending a lot of time looking for a ResMed 11 side cover and I found it here.
