DreamStation Heated Humidifier by Philips Respironics

Philips Respironics has not only rejuvenated its humidification system with the DreamStation, the re-invention is certainly evident as well. Along with the heated tube, you'll enjoy a steady stream of warm air. The DreamStation in conjunction with Heated Tubing will optimize humidified air flow and reduce the overall possibility of rainout all the while protecting the machine from water damage. Protection equals longevity, which is something we all want! Utilizing an intelligent humidity control system gives you the flexibility to find what works best for you to give you the results you need. With all this extra comfort you are sure to fall asleep comfortably and treat your sleep apnea the way it should be treated.

Take Control

The Respironics DreamStation Humidifier offers 5 different levels of humidification just like the Heated Tube. Allowing yourself to choose the desired humidity level will ensure you'll find an optimal number that will comfort you and make you wake up happy and refreshed. Wouldn't that be nice to experience daily? These two features will work together in harmony making sure to deliver humidification that is deemed optimal by your standard. If you feel that you don't need to use the Philips Respironics humidifier then there is nothing to worry about. You wield the to shut it off completely by turning it to zero (0) This is what we call "Taking Control"

Adapt to change or Remain the same

Are you one to adapt? Would you prefer to stay consistently the same? Neither options are a bad choice so we consider this a win-win situation. The all-new Respironics DreamStation Humidifier allows you to select between two humidification modes: Adaptive and Fixed. No more tinkering around with the tube settings as the device will automatically switch to Heated Tube Humidification Mode the moment you attach the heated tube to the device. The all-new Adaptive mode adapts the heat plate temperature to the surrounding conditions in the room and outside creating an ambiance for you to enjoy. Best of all, this design prevents condensation from occurring in the tube which means a peaceful undisturbed sleep session. If you prefer to stay constant then the DreamStation has you covered as you can choose the Fixed Mode: allowing you to apply constant heat on the humidifier heated plate rather than adapt to the surroundings.

Note: Under certain conditions and settings, this mode can allow condensation to occur in the tube while in use.

Dry Box

Why fix something that isn't broken? Respironics has brought back the Dry Box technology it is known for in the DreamStation. Dry Box Technology is designed to trap water in the Respironics DreamStation humidifier and away from the machine. The one-way valve where the air outlet port is located further protects itself against water exiting the humidifier and into your machine.

Note:

The DreamStation Heated Humidifier is compatible only with DreamStation machines. It is not compatible with other Philips Respironics machines such as the RemStar M series, Legacy series, or the System One REMStar machines.
The DreamStation Heated Humidifier is compatible with the PR System One Heated Tube.

A. Yes you may.

I got my Phillips Dream station CPAP returned to me with reconditioning. I thought I'd get the humidifier back too but I didn't. So I purchased this one and it's exactly what I needed.

Subject: Incredible service, great price!
The clip that keeps the humidifier closed on my Dreamstation broke, a part that was poorly designed by Philips, rendering the process of adding water a nightmare. I had to jury-rig a temporary hack using a backpacking strap to belt the lid closed. Unfortunately, the cheap clip, probably a one dollar part, couldn’t be replaced, so I had to buy a new humidifier. On the entire internet, RespShop had the most competitive price and offered reasonably priced overnight shipping. The customer service was friendly, efficient, and made me feel like a valued customer. I received the new humidifier well-packed the next afternoon and was back in business. I highly recommend this shop and will be purchasing all of my CPAP supplies here in the future! Thank you RespShop!!!

Subject: Recalled machine
Terrible company. Won't give refunds or replace the recalls. Been waiting for 2 months for a call. Supervisor for philips says they can't do anything. Don't buy. It had been recalled.

Thank you for reaching out. We are not Philips so we have no control over their recall. It sounds like Philips is starting to address the issue so you may want to register an account with us as we are keeping our customers posted on the progress.
