Disposable HypoAllergenic Filters for S9, AirSense 10 and AirCurve 10 by ResMed
The ResMed Disposable S9, AirSense/AirCurve 10 Hypoallergenic Filter is used with all S9 and AirSense/AirCurve 10 CPAP and BiPAP machines to reduce allergy symptoms and improve overall air quality. This filter is not washable and should be replaced every 2 to 6 months, depending on dust accumulation and the air quality in your home. If you have pets, we recommend replacing the filter more frequently.
How is the hypoallergenic filter different from the standard filter?
The hypoallergenic filter effectively traps over 98% of airborne particles as small as 7-8 microns, while the standard filter captures more than 75% of particles measuring 7 microns in size. This makes the hypoallergenic filter more efficient at filtering smaller particles compared to the standard filter.

Q. What is the difference between these filters and the other disposable filters that start at $8.00 for these machines? And please don't just say these are hypoallergenic and those are not. What I mean is, do these last longer or protect the machine better? What is the better benefit of these?

A. Standard filters should be changed at regular intervals to ensure therapy air is filtered. Change frequently if you have house pets. Hypoallergenic filters are ultra-fine to provide additional filtration from airborne allergens. Recommended for users suffering from allergies and should also be changed regularly (1-3 months) depending on each home and ventilation.
Q. are the filters made by res med or are they China knock offs ?

Q. Does it matter which side of the filter for the Hypoallergenic filters for the S9/AIR10 are installed toward the machine?
A. You may wish to place them fuzzy side out. They should be replaced monthly or when discolored.

A. Yes they will.
Q. I'm looking for a Hypo filter for my ResMed Airsense11 Autoset. Would these work.
A. These filters are for the Airsense 10 which are not compatible. You will need model: 39305, which are the correct filters.
Q. Hi, how many come in a pack? The smallest I can buy is a 2pk, is that just 2 filters? Or is it for a pack of filters? It doesn't specify.

A lot of other places were selling filters not made by resmed. These are directly from resmed so I feel more comfortable using these. good filters unlike the standard ones you can literally see through. Honestly these should be the standard filters everyone should get.
