Sleep without limits with the DreamWisp’s top-of-the-head tube design. The 360° swivel connector lets you move around freely without pulling or dislodging the mask.
Minimal Contact Cushion

Lighter and more comfortable than traditional nasal cushions, the soft silicone DreamWisp cushion gently fits over your nose. It minimizes contact with your face while providing a secure fit.
Mask Fitting Simplified

Once you’ve adjusted the headgear’s Velcro straps, there’s no need to struggle with your mask fit every time. Just slip the mask on, clasp the magnetic clips to the frame and enjoy a good night’s rest.
Adaptive Fit & Open View

The DreamWisp's unique frame offers an unobstructed view and a soft, secure seal. Hollow and pliable, the soft silicone frame conforms to your face for an optimal, personalized fit.
Sleep In Comfort

Dream without noise and discomfort. The exhalation port is pointed upwards, redirecting the air away from your bed while the soft fabric frame wraps provide an extra layer of comfort against your skin.

Philips Respironics DreamWisp Nasal Mask

Sleep however you want and enjoy more restful nights. Philips Respironics makes it easier to fit CPAP therapy into your lifestyle with its first-ever tube-up, over-the-nose nasal mask: the DreamWisp.

Designed with a top-of-the-head tube connection, the DreamWisp lets you sleep in any position without your CPAP hose blocking your way. It delivers airflow into the compact nasal cushion through the hollow, open-faced frame. This pliable frame adapts to your facial contours while maintaining a small footprint.

Have an easier time assembling, wearing, and removing your CPAP mask. The four-point headgear fastens onto the frame using magnetic clips*, eliminating the need to readjust the mask each time you start your therapy.

*Magnetic headgear clips are not recommended for users with metallic medical implants.

Weekly cleaning: headgear, frame sleeves
Daily cleaning: all non-fabric mask parts

  1. Disassemble the mask.
  2. Hand wash all parts in warm water with mild soap. Avoid soaking the parts for more than ten minutes.
  3. Rinse each part thoroughly under running water.
  4. Let the mask components air dry completely out of direct sunlight. The headgear can be laid flat to dry or hung to line dry.

Once a week, you can clean your DreamWisp in the top rack of the dishwasher.

  1. Remove all fabric parts and the magnetic clips before disassembling the mask.
  2. Place the disassembled parts on the top rack of your dishwasher.
  3. Skip the dishwasher's drying cycle. Once the wash cycle is complete, remove the cleaned mask parts and allow them to air dry completely.

To maintain the best fit and seal for your CPAP therapy, we recommend replacing the entire mask, including the headgear and frame, every 6 months.

The silicone cushion, however, may need to be replaced more frequently, typically every 2 to 3 months. Silicone naturally softens over time, which can affect its ability to create a good seal.
  1. Gently pull the mask away from your face and then release it, allowing the cushion seal to inflate and settle comfortably around your nose.
  2. Make sure to clean both your mask cushion and your face, as facial oils can interfere with the seal.
  3. Ensure you're wearing your DreamWisp Nasal Mask according to the fitting instructions. The way you put on the mask significantly impacts the seal.
  4. Adjust your headgear as necessary.
  5. Try a larger or smaller cushion/frame size.
  6. Replace any worn out mask parts.

If your CPAP mask still leaks after following all those troubleshooting steps, a different mask style may be a better option. Feel free to contact RespShop for assistance in choosing a different mask.
The DreamWisp Nasal Mask comes with a pair of magnetic headgear clips for easy fitting. However, you can replace them with non-magnetic headgear clips, which are recommended for users with medical implants.

1–10 of 10 Questions
Q. Can my dreamwisp cushion be used with me regular wisp headgear and hose?
A. Sadly no, the cushions are not interchangeable.
Q. What makes my husband feel like he’s suffocating since he can’t breath with it on. Please help he needs to use this and can’t last night or tonight.
A. If your husband is a mouth breathing, he may want to try a full face mask. Otherwise, have your husband sit up right and practice if the mask is new to him. Try wearing the mask while watching tv or reading a book.
Q. I tried using a dreamwisp medium mask and frame. The frontal frame where the air flows is too small, but the M nasal mask/cushion is just the right size. I can see your fitpack offers different sizes in cushions. However, what is the size of the dreamwisp frame in the fitpack?
A. It would be the standard which is the medium size or the one size fits most. Here is the extension if you need the frame size to be bigger https://www.respshop.com/cpap-masks/parts/othe-parts/respironics-dreamwisp-connector-p-1318.html If you have any other questions please contact our office.
Q. i don't know mask size. what's tool i can get my size? plz tell me how's size i can get?
A. I would purchase the fitpack model 1137916 which will come with all 3 cushion sizes for you to try.
Q. In german please
A. Thank you for your feedback. I will advise management to look into German language as an option for our drop down menu
Q. Will this mask connect to my Resmed heated air hose without an additional adapter?
A. Hello, yes it will.

Thank you
Q. Will this mask connect to my Resmed heated air hose without an additional adapter?
A. Yes, it's compatible with the ResMed Airsense 10, which accepts all standard 22mm connections.
Q. Will this mask connect to my resmed heate air hose without an additional adapter?
A. Hello, yes this mask will connect to any cpap except the airmini. That cpap will need an adapter. Thank you
Q. I bought a Phillips Respironics "Wisp" nasal mask from you but the approximately 15 inch long tube the comes out of the mask has a connector that is too to connect to the hose that comes from my Phillips "Dream Machine". I believe that hose is 15mm. What do I need to make them compatible? Otherwise I would like to return the mask as the hose will not connect to the "Dream Machine" hose. Thank you,
A. There is no compatibility issues between these devices. What has likely happened is that a piece from an old mask is stuck in your tubing and preventing proper conection. Ensure that the connecting ends of the tubing are one whole piece. If they are not, remove the piece that is stuck inside and it should then connect to your new mask.
Q. Is this vented? I need the nose piece to be vented.
A. Yes all home use CPAP masks are vented. Some hospital masks are non-vented but we do not sell them.

Subject: Dream Wisp Mask
I am a new cpap user and started with the nasal pillow. It was "okay" but I had to struggle for about 10 minutes every night to make it feel just right on my face. I switched to the Dream Wisp mask last night and I LOVE it! No struggling to breathe, no leakage, and I could roll on my side with no issues. The only thing I noticed is I needed to turn the humidity setting down as there was some water pooling in the mask. Once I did that it was good to go!

Subject: Excellent mask
Heard good things about the Phillips Dream line of masks from a variety of people I’d talked to. This was my first mask but I figured I would start with a nasal mask for a lightweight choice. There’s a variety of things I love about it, which I’ll talk about.
Frame: The frame uses a really cool design where there’s two air ways along the sides of the face, which converge at the top. There the air feed is on a swivel. This means you can sleep however you want and there will be a constant flow of air. It also means that you can position your machine and hose to the top of your head, keeping it completely free from your body. Fantastic.
Cushion: It’s easy to snap in and then it just sits around your nose. I had some lines on the fist few nights but I played around with the adjustment and I was able to get it fine. Haven’t really had any leaks and I’m able to breathe without issue, giving me a goods night rest.

Comfort/Convenience: The frame is lightweight and minimal, which means it’s light on my head. It holds on well though so I’ve been able to sleep without discomfort. Also there’s magnetic clips on the straps which means it’s really easy to take my mask off in the mornings, and to put them back on. Also useful for midnight restroom trips.

This is a very good mask, I was looking for something lightweight and comfortable that wouldn’t block my vision while reading at night.

It fits well and I like that I can sleep in different positions without compromise. The nose cushion was a little uncomfortable at first but I bought the fit pack so I swapped the cushion out and found a good one. Easy to take off too since you can just open up the magnetic clasps which means you don’t have to sacrifice the fit every night.

The mask works well too, no problems with leakage and I didn’t have to change my regular pressure to achieve that. Anyone looking for an unobtrusive mask should highly consider this mask.

Very comfortable, has a paper measure to select correct mask size. The air hose dies not get get tangled like the other does. I lay on my side on the side hose and doesn’t affect it at all. Glad i chose this mask assembly!

Bought one for me and one for hubby for our Dreamwear CPAPs. They are without a doubt the most comfortable, inexpensive masks that we're worn. I must admit, when on, they do remind us of the old Twilight Zone "Pig Nose" series :) but since we both look like that, it's kind of fun! Because of the way the back is configured, there's no more riding up on our heads at night so we get a good nights sleep.

Also, the price was actually affordable and it was received within less than a week from ordering. Love Respshop!

This is a great mask. It has the hose at the top of the head, and it is soft and hardly leaves any marks on my face. Another great thing about this mask is that there is not rain and very little leaks. It was well worth the money!!

Headgear fits me fine. Only one problem, I am using the medium nose mask, which fits great but is causing my nose to have a large sore on the base of my nose.

I am sorry to hear about your sore. You may try the smaller cushion along with some antibiotic cream to help heal the sore. Only put it on during the day and then wash that area at night before placing the mask on.

This mask is fantastic! The number one priority for me is comfort, and it absolutely kills in that department. I’m a side sleeper and this is perfect for that, since it uses two airways along both sides of the face. No matter which side you sleep on, you’ll always have a path of unobstructed air flow. Also, the box came with three different sizes of nose cushions which means you should be able to find a size that fits you perfectly, even if you have a wide nose like me.

There’s a bunch of other features too that make it extremely comfortable. The connection tube sits on the top of your head and swivels, which means you can turn it to whatever angle is comfortable with your sleeping style. This also means the hose doesn’t sit on my body anymore (which always bothered me). Finally, and this is probably the most important part, the straps are really convenient and easy to adjust. I firmly believe the key to not getting those red face marks is proper adjustment of the strap tightness and I was able to get a perfect tightness on this mask. As a plus, there’s a magnetic clasp for easy removal which makes it really easy to take off.

My only “complaint” with this mask is that the top tube connection part is pretty rigid. I have a wide head so it was a little tight at first. However I found that Respshop actually sells connectors in different sizes and I purchased a large one which made it fit perfectly. It’s called the DreamWisp connector which I think you can just search on this site. With that, I’ve never slept better.

Only problems are cleaning and also the velco straps are weak.
You have to take the velco off everyday to clean and that weakens the velco
Otherwise, very nice mask.

How do I like it. I don’t. Poor design. But, I’m stuck with it since I can’t send it back. I probably should have chosen a different company to buy from that has a friendlier return policy.

Hi Curtis, we have a mask assurance program, which allows us to offer store credit towards a different mask to try since you're unhappy with the one you have. As long as you let us know within 30 days. It looks like your purchase date was September 16 so you still have some time. Please reach out to us and we will be happy to help. 866-936-3754.

Pros. Top hose connection. Soft side.

Cons. Just odd having this little thing around my nose. I didn't sleep well with it on and went back to nasal pillow. Just ordered full mask hoping something works...

Got DreamWisp mask on 6/7/2019. Used till today 6/15.Looked like a good idea since I am as side sleeper and I liked the top hose connection and two paths for air to flow into the nose...Two big problems I have encountered:
1-It appears that the two tubes on the side of face are not allowing enough air pressure as I seem to struggle to get enough air....Never had this problem with any other mask.
2-The nose cover has severely irritated the nose and left serious indentation and red marks on bridge of nose..Tried two different sizes medium and large-both with same results....Never had that problem with other nasal masks I tried....I loosened straps up but not much help.

Subject: Could not breathe
I received my DreamWisp mask yesterday. I fit it yesterday afternoon and noticed then that air did not flow through it easily even before I connected it to my CPAP. Once connected, air flow improved marginally as the machine ramped. Last night, I used it for 5 hours, but I struggled to breathe through that entire time. I simply could not get sufficient air through it while breathing through my nose. I repeatedly awoke breathing through my mouth (something I never do) and dry in ways I could not imagine. Ultimately, I gave up on the DreamWisp and went back to my Airfit 10. Breathing is good!

This morning, I again tried to simply breath through the DreamWisp mask disconnected from the CPAP. And again, the air would not come.

I am an "active" sleeper. I tried the DreamWisp mask hoping it would stay in place as I moved from back to side to back through the night as my AirFit 10 moves regardless of adjustment. On the plus side, the DreamWisp appeared to stay in place as I moved. Of course, that's of little importance because the mask failed of its essential purpose of directing air into my nose.

I have already taken advantage of RespShop's return policy and will be trying a different mask very soon.

I am sorry that mask did not work for you. I hope the new mask works well for you!

Subject: Horrible
This mask has some of the worst design flaws I’ve ever seen. Besides the bottom straps pushing up into and absolutely crushing my earlobes, the nasal mask leaves horrible raw sores on/under/around my nose. The magnetic clips sit directly on my earlobes, effectively crushing them. I had to stop wearing earrings. The mask also whistles from the vent holes on top of my head and I can hear it all night. I tried 3 different sizes and have had the same results with all of them. It’s just a crappy design. Cpap masks are already uncomfy and annoying, but this is hands down the worst mask I’ve tried.

Hi there, we're sorry this mask did not work out for you. Please make sure to use our 30 day mask assurance program if you haven't already. It is applicable within 30 days of receiving your mask, and once in a 6 month period. If not used we can provide store credit towards a different mask for you. Thank you.

Subject: Loss of force
This mask was AWFUL and the downsides were completely unexpected. Just as background, I am using a ResMed bi-pap machine. I have been using bi-pap for less than a year so I am still trying to find the perfect mask. I usually use a Philips dreamwear nasal cushion mask, which is okay. It sits under your nose without inserting prongs in your nose or utilizing a large mask to cover your nose and mouth. Despite the dreamwear’s unobtrusive design, it somehow magically pushes air up into your nose. I am not sure how it works, it must be magic. The problem with the dreamwear is when you lay on your side the nasal cushion slides off-center slightly causing a small piece of plastic to cover one nostril and you also get excess air blowing into your eye causing dry eye. As you can imagine it is quite difficult to breathe and sleep with only one nostril.

Therefore I purchased the Philips DreamWisp mask in hopes that its larger profile would prevent slippage and suffocation… but boy was I wrong. When my new Dream Wisp mask arrived I used the quick release to easily pop off the dreamwear mask and pop on the Dream Wisp. I placed it on my head, tightened the straps, and powered up the machine. What I immediately found was a loss of force. Air was still coming into my nose but it was like it had zero force behind it. The whole point of bipap is to have force to slam the air up your nose in a satisfying experience, but not with the Dream Wisp. I even tried tightening the headgear and switching out the nasal piece for different size cushions but it never got better. I never even got to assess the comfort level of this mask because I was unable to breathe with it. I honestly thought a big nasal mask like the dream wisp would be stronger than the dream wear nasal pillow, but I was very very wrong.

Hi there, I'm very sorry that this mask did not work for you. Please note we have a 30 day mask assurance program which is applicable once every 6 months. We can provide you store credit towards a different mask as long as this has not already been used in the last 6 months. Thank you.
