Swift FX Bella Gray Nasal Pillow Mask by ResMed
With loops that go around your ears rather than the back of your head, the ResMed Swift FX Bella Gray is a compact and unobtrusive nasal pillow CPAP mask designed for maximum sleeping comfort. It provides excellent sleep apnea therapy without causing discomfort to the user. The Swift FX Bella Gray also comes with the Standard Swift FX Headgear, giving you two headgear options to choose from. For added convenience, the mask comes with all three available nasal pillow sizes - small, medium and large - allowing you to try on different sizes in the comfort of your own home.
Bella Loops Plus Swift FX Headgear
Unlike on other ResMed products, the loops on the Swift FX Bella Gray nasal pillow hook around the ear instead of around the back of your head. But it also comes with the traditional Swift FX headgear, so you have a choice. The loops are lightweight and rest comfortably on your ears thanks to the silicone design.
The Swift FX Bella Mask does not block your view during CPAP therapy, so you can watch TV or read a book during use. The loops are cushioned on the side with soft wraps which provide comfort for your cheeks.
Ultra Quiet
ResMed designed this mask to direct air gently away from you and your bed partner. You won’t wake up from the sound of your own breathing, and no more complaints from disgruntled bed partners.
Dual Wall Pillow
In order to improve your CPAP mask's support and comfort, the ResMed Swift FX Bella Gray has a dual-walled pillow design that improves seal and reduces the discomfort of wearing a nasal pillow mask. Sleep freely with the Swift FX Bella's reliable and flexible seal, even if you tend to move around at night.
Easy Fit Mask
Cushions of three sizes come with your purchase – Small, Medium, and Large – for maximum versatility and a perfect seal. The headgear is easy to install and fit around your head, and there are only a few parts for washing and cleaning.
Travel-Friendly CPAP Mask
The Swift FX Bella Gray is extremely lightweight, which makes it an ideal mask for CPAP users on the go.
RespShop's Tips
Measure the distance from where your CPAP machine rests to where you sleep on your bed and add about an extra foot to determine the length of tubing you need. This extra foot gives you room to move without mask drag or leaks that could affect your therapy.
Note: The FX Bella Gray is also available in a For Her version that comes with an extra small nasal pillow in lieu of the large, pink ear loops, and the Standard Swift FX For Her Headgear with a pink back strap. The Bella For Her ear loops and headgear are slightly smaller.
Fitting your ResMed Swift FX Bella Gray
- Holding the nasal pillow to your nose, wrap one loop securely around an ear.
- Repeat step 1 with the other loop.
- Adjust the fit of your CPAP mask by pulling both of the upper straps simultaneously.
- Repeat step 2 with both of the bottom straps.
- Ensure that the nasal pillows are positioned upright at the entrance of your nose, and then connect the short tube from the mask to your CPAP hose.
FAQ
How do I know what type of pillow size I will need?
ResMed provides all three sizes of cushions with the Swift FX Bella Gray CPAP mask, in case you are a first-time purchaser. Once you determine which size is the best fit, you can purchase individual replacement cushions in the size that works best for you.
Daily cleaning: cushion
- Disassemble the mask.
- Soak all parts in warm water with mild soap for up to ten minutes.
- Gently scrub the vent with a soft bristle brush.
- Rinse each part thoroughly under running water.
- Air dry all parts away from direct sunlight. Lay the headgear flat to dry.
The silicone cushion, however, may need to be replaced more frequently, typically every 2 to 3 months. Silicone naturally softens over time, which can affect its ability to create a good seal.
The Bella Gray loops are unique in that they hook around the ears, unlike the standard headgear which wraps around the top and back of the head.
- Gently pull the mask away from your face and then release it, allowing the tips of the nasal pillows to inflate and settle comfortably inside your nose.
- Make sure to clean both your mask cushion and your face, as facial oils can interfere with the seal.
- Ensure you're wearing your Swift FX Bella Gray according to the fitting instructions in the user guide. The way you put on the mask significantly impacts the seal.
- Adjust your headgear as necessary.
- Try a larger or smaller cushion size.
- Replace any worn out mask parts.
If your CPAP mask still leaks after following all those troubleshooting steps, a different mask style may be a better option. Feel free to contact RespShop for assistance in choosing a different mask.
Yes it will fit
The loops do no have any adjustments so if you find that you are needing a larger mask I would not suggest the bella loops, it may add pressure to the back of the ears causing discomfort. The ResMed Swift Fx nasal pillows have both adjustable straps at the top and at the back of the head which may be better suited for you. Yes, you can use this with the AirSense 10.
So far I like this product because, it don't move around as much as the head harness one that I had been using.
This mask is great! I don't think many people know about it, but it has a unique strap design that's almost like the loops on a mask. I've found this to work really well for me, and it keeps the mask on tight and sealed during the night. Have had nothing but great sleep.
Package comes with two different strap designs. One of them has a band around the top of the head and one around the back. The other one is like a face mask, two loops that go around your ears. I tried both and they were both good. Did not exert too much pressure but held the mask on firmly. No shifting at night. Going to stick with the two strap one though since it’s what I’m used to. Either one, I think you’ll be happy with it.
The nice part with both is that they’re unobstructive. I can wear my glasses with either design and read a book in bed. It’s also easy to take the mask off in the mornings. Cleaning is easy too, I just use warm water for the cushion.
Overall a good mask. Nothing wrong with it and it’s priced well, while also working perfectly.
Excellent, only mask I have had in years that I can comfortably sleep in all night.

Headgear: The package comes with two headgear options, both of which are great. One of them is a very standard two loop design that goes around the top of your head and around the nape. This one is fine, it’s light enough and fairly comfortable, provided you use the soft wraps. Your regular range of adjustment options so no issues there. The OTHER headgear is what really impressed me however. I’ve never seen another design like it and I don’t think I’ll ever switch away. It consists of two loops that go around your ear and just hook there, basically like a face mask. I personally love this. Straps going around, on top of, all over my head have been annoying and I always treated it as a necessary evil. This new set of straps takes away all of those issues. Doesn’t leave any imprints and holds the pillow well. It really makes me question why other masks use so many straps, although I countenance that people who move a lot in their sleep may not have as good an experience. Ymmv but I think the headgear is amazing.
Pillow: Pretty standard pillow, fits well and holds a good seal. Comes with three sizes which is of course very nice. The replacements seem pretty standard too, but I do find the pillows pretty easy to clean so they have some longer-term potential.
The ear loops are very good. Because of the design, I don't have to worry about my mask leaving a mark on the back of my head and ruffling my hair to make me look unprofessional in the morning. Also, not having a headgear over my head/in my hair feels amazing. It's so freeing and comfortable to use. I also don't get marks on my face normally from this mask.
The only issue that I found after a few days of using this mask is that the nasal pillow material is on the flimsier side so I can't keep a good seal depending on how I adjust my mask. Because of the ear loops, sometimes, the mask sags and/or buckles and the seal becomes nonexistent. But being able to comfortably wear this mask is such a step up from my old mask that I can't go back. I will continue to use this mask but I will say as a warning that if you roll around in your sleep often, it's difficult to get a good seal.
straps that go over ears are not comfortable and almost cut into ears.
