How do I clean the AirFit P10 Nasal Pillow Mask?

Weekly cleaning: headgear
Daily cleaning: cushion, frame

Disassemble the mask.
Soak all parts in warm water with mild soap for up to ten minutes.
Gently scrub the vent with a soft bristle brush.
Rinse each part thoroughly under running water.
Air dry all parts away from direct sunlight. Lay the headgear flat to dry.

How often should I replace my AirFit P10 Nasal Pillow Mask?

To maintain the best fit and seal for your CPAP therapy, we recommend replacing the entire mask, including the headgear and frame, every 6 months.

The silicone cushion, however, may need to be replaced more frequently, typically every 2 to 3 months. Silicone naturally softens over time, which can affect its ability to create a good seal.

Is the AirFit P10 Nasal Pillow Mask a good choice for users for facial hair?

The ResMed AirFit P10 is a good fit for users with facial hair because the nasal pillow cushion rests under the nose, away from most facial hair. The mask's minimal contact design also reduces the impact of facial hair on the seal.

However, keeping facial hair trimmed will always help improve comfort and fit for any mask.

What is the difference between the ResMed AirFit P10 and AirFit P10 For Her nasal pillow masks?

The AirFit P10 For Her offers smaller nasal pillow sizes (extra small, small, medium) compared to the AirFit P10, which comes in small, medium, and large.

The headgear on the AirFit P10 for Her is also shorter than the standard AirFit P10 headgear.

My AirFit P10 Nasal Pillow Mask is leaking. What should I do?

Gently pull the mask away from your face and then release it, allowing the tips of the nasal pillows to inflate and settle comfortably inside your nose.
Make sure to clean both your mask cushion and your face, as facial oils can interfere with the seal.
Ensure you're wearing your AirFit P10 mask according to the fitting instructions in the user guide. The way you put on the mask significantly impacts the seal.
Adjust your headgear as necessary.
Try a larger or smaller cushion size.
Replace any worn out mask parts.

Q. Does air flow out at edges when you lay on your side?
I have this problem with resmed n30 when pressure is 10 or higher.

A. The P10 cushion seals on the edge of the nostrils making is stay in place better than the N30 cushion when on your side.

A. Yes, the short tube is attached the frame of the mask so it will come with the mask set up.

Q. How do I know what size cushion to use?

A. It should occlude the nostrils as the PAP machine uses pressure, you do not want to have air escaping around the pillows or the pressure will be lost.

Q. When should I use the headgear clips in the package?

A. You do not need to use the headgear clips until the fabric of the headgear begins to stretch or if you find it to be too loose when you receive it.

Subject: Best mask for me so far
I'm still fairly new to CPAP therapy so I'm still trying to find the mask that works best for me. I've tried the Resmed F20, but kept waking up due to leaks near the bridge of my nose. Then I tried the Resmed F40 and it worked better and was more comfortable than the F20 I found that I would still wake up to leaks and I felt I was between their medium and large size so the mask didn't fit as well as I hoped.

I've been using the P10 for about 4 nights now and it's been great! I hardly notice the pillow on my face and after putting it on for a bit I forget it's there altogether. I sleep through the nights and am feeling the best I have since I started CPAP therapy.

I didn't think that I would like having just a nasal pillow and having the air blow up my nose, but I really don't notice it like I thought I would. If you're hesitant about trying a nasal pillow for the same reason I highly suggest trying it.

Well, I've tried several kinds of cpap masks and pillows and most leave marks or sores on my nose. I tried the AirFit P10 and this has worked very well for me. They provided 3 sizes with my order to try them all and I eventually choose the large for my fit. It fit's well and has never leaked once! It's nice not having my whole face covered and it's really simple to clean and take care of. The pillows are cheaper to purchase and less to take with you when you travel. If it keeps working like it has I'll be sticking with it.

Subject: What a GAME CHANGER!!
I don't usually write reviews but I HAD to write one for this mask! I'm just so, so impressed. I used to hate CPAP therapy and the likes. I've tried cloth, nasal, full face, mouth guards, and literally every single other type of mask you can think of. I thought it was normal to get huge, red marks on my skin every morning and have my hair messed up like I walked through 1000 fans blowing at me from different directions. The airfit feels like a mask that was literally MADE for me. I got the sampler pack of different cushion sizes and tried the medium size but I've never had to adjust it and it fits perfectly on me. It doesn't feel claustrophobic, heavy, or annoying. It's so lightweight and it's so unnoticeable. I'm just in awe to know that masks make such a difference. I get such good sleep from this. It feels like the moment I put it on, I just drift away into my dreams. I can't even feel the air pressure at all! It's such a great mask and I don't have the words to express how much I LOVE this mask!! No slipping, no leaking, nothing! Just pure, uninterrupted, good sleep.

I'm so, so glad I found this mask at the recommendation of one of my good friends. Thank you so much. I'm VERY happy with this purchase.
