Z2 Travel CPAP Machine - Manual by Breas

Small, Light, and Totally Integrated

The new single-pressure Z2 CPAP machine is small enough for travel yet, powerful enough for everyday use. This lightweight machine is perfect for travel just like its predecessor, the Z1. A major improvement is the sound volume. The Z2 uses an improved, quieter motor and the Q-Lite to muffle tube noises when delivering therapy. The Z2 has all the features of the Z1. Not only is this machine light and quiet but you can also use any mask with this machine. Take your favorite mask with you when you travel! If you need humidification, this machine offers waterless humidification with the included Heat Moisture Exchanger (HME). The HME recycles heat and moisture from exhaled air to simulate a humidifier.

Travel-Friendly Machine

Breas has designed this with the traveler in mind. Weighing only 10.3 ounces, it is one of the lightest CPAP machines on the market. Its 6.48" x 3.30" x 2.02" size allows it to easily fit in a backpack or suitcase. Compared to other, bulkier machines, it will take up far less space on a nightstand or tent.

Z-Breathe Exhalation Relief

The Z2 Auto Travel machine comes with comfort features you will find in any top-notch CPAP machine. The Z-Breathe Exhalation relief function reduces air pressure during exhalation, making it much easier to breathe against the incoming air. The device offers 3 levels of Z-Breathe for your comfort. You will be able to select whichever level is best for your CPAP therapy.

Heat Moisture Exchanger

One feature that sets Breas machines apart from other CPAP machines is the use of heat moisture exchangers (HMEs) instead of heated humidifiers for humidification. The HME provides humidification by recycling heat and moisture from the user's exhaled breath. A major advantage of using a HME instead of a heated humidifier is extended battery life. The HME does not draw power like a heated humidifier does, so it does not drain battery life when used with the optional PowerShell battery. The HME is also travel-friendly as if offers humidification without sacrificing size and eliminates the hassle of packing distilled water.

Battery

The Z2 has an optional PowerShell for 8 more hours of battery life. This will add an extra night of use when power is limited. It can be purchased with or without the PowerShell.

Automatic Altitude Adjustment

Ideal for users traveling through mountains, the Z2 CPAP machine was built to automatically detect altitude and adjust therapy pressure accordingly. The machine is capable of operating from sea level to 8,000 feet above sea level.

Leak Compensation

The Z2 will detect minor leaks from your CPAP Mask and adjust its pressure accordingly. If you experience a mask leak, the device will ensure that your prescribed pressure needs are met. If there are major leaks, the device will let you know with an error message.

FAQ

How is the Z2 Manual CPAP different from the Z1 model?
The Z2 Manual CPAP has an improved motor that is 29% quieter than the Z1 Manual CPAP.

How is the Z2 Travel Manual CPAP different from the Z2 Travel Auto CPAP?
The Z2 Auto is an auto CPAP machine whereas the Z2 Manual is a fixed pressure CPAP machine. An auto CPAP machine automatically adjusts the pressure level between the set minimum and maximum pressure range in response to the user’s breathing obstructions. A fixed pressure CPAP machine, on the other hand, does not adjust pressure in response to obstructions. It instead stays at one fixed/set pressure throughout the night.

If you are unsure whether you need an auto CPAP machine or a manual CPAP machine, please refer to your CPAP prescription. Usually, your prescription will indicate which type of machine you need.

Loving it! Used it the first time and it worked perfectly. I was always worried that such a small machine couldn’t handle my needs but it did great. I was amazed how quiet it was. Now I’m thinking about ordering the power shell. I would like to know if it’s legal to carry on an airplane.

Works great! Very compact. Zero performance issues. You’ll need a lot more space for your mask and tube than for this little baby!

Subject: No Aftersales
As of March 25, 2022, my order is still (April 4) in the UPS bonded warehouse. The Portuguese authorities do not allow the CPAP device into the European market because it is apparently not certified for Europe. Respshop has gone into hiding and is not helping. Respshop does not respond to emails.

Hi there, we have tried to reach out to you by email. Our last response was March 29th. UPS is still waiting for clearance details from you. If they are unable to obtain these required documents the device will likely be shipped back to us. Please reach out to us by calling 866-936-3754 or emailing: sales@respshop.com
