Adaptive Servo-Ventilation (ASV)
ResMed’s ASV algorithm provides targeted support to keep your breathing stable. It learns, predicts, and then optimizes pressures for each user, delivering therapy that is in sync with your unique breathing.
Exhalation pressure (EPAP) remains constant, keeping the upper airway open while pressure support (PS) changes as needed to prevent central apneas.
ASVAuto
A step up from ASV mode, ASVAuto ASVAuto offers an extra layer of comfort and responsiveness. It automatically adjusts EPAP — within the set min and max EPAP range — in response to real-time upper airway changes.
VSync Leak Management
With VSync, the AirCurve 10 ASV constantly monitors and adjusts flow to compensate for unintentional mask leaks.
SmartStart™ Convenience
Start therapy hands-free with SmartStart, which automatically initiates therapy when you breathe into the mask. To stop treatment, simply take off the mask and the machine will stop automatically.
Fall Asleep Easier with Ramp
To help you fall asleep faster, the AirCurve 10 ASV features Ramp in all modes (ASV, ASVAuto and CPAP).
Ramp starts treatment at a lower pressure (Start EPAP) for a more comfortable transition. Over a set Ramp Time (adjustable from 5 to 45 minutes), the pressure gradually reaches your minimum treatment pressure.
Heated Humidification Optimized
Enjoy comfortable nights with the AirCurve 10 ASV’s integrated HumidAir heated humidifier. You can fine-tune your comfort level by manually adjusting humidity (1 to 8) and tube temperature (60 to 86°F or 16 to 30°C).
For guaranteed protection against rainout, upgrade your non-heated hose to the ClimateLineAir 10 Heated Tubing.
When paired with the AirCurve 10 ASV, this heated hose unlocks Climate Control Auto mode that optimizes humidity and temperature. Climate Control Auto ensures a comfortable 85% relative humidity and a constant 80°F (27°C) tube temperature.
Oxygen Therapy Support
The ResMed AirCurve 10 ASV supports up to 15 L/min of supplemental oxygen in ASV and CPAP modes. In ASVAuto mode, it supports up to 4 L/min of supplemental oxygen.
To monitor your heart rate and SpO2, connect the AirCurve 10 ASV to the Air10 Oximetry Kit, which includes an Air10 oximetry module and NONIN XPOD oximeter with finger sensor.

Who is the AirCurve 10 ASV suitable for?
The AirCurve 10 ASV is designed for users with breathing issues such as central sleep apnea, complex sleep apnea, obstructive sleep apnea and periodic breathing.* Your sleep doctor will specify if ASV therapy is right for you.
*ASV therapy is not suitable for those with chronic, symptomatic heart failure (NYHA 2-4) with reduced left ventricular ejection fraction (LVEF ≤ 45%) and moderate to severe predominant central sleep apnea.
Can I use the AirCurve 10 ASV on a plane?
The AirCurve 10 ASV is FAA-approved for in-flight use. You can find the air travel compliance letter under "Technical Data."
What tubing is compatible with the AirCurve 10 ASV?
The AirCurve 10 ASV is compatible with any non-heated tubing with a standard 22mm connection. In terms of heated tubing, it is only compatible with the ClimateLineAir 10 Heated Tube.
What filters can I use with the AirCurve 10 ASV?
The AirCurve 10 ASV is compatible with the Air10 Disposable Filter and the Air10 Hypoallergenic Filter. Only one filter can be used in the bilevel machine at a time.
How do I clean and maintain the AirCurve 10 ASV?
As needed: wipe the exterior with a damp cloth.
Daily or every other day: empty the water chamber to prevent bacterial growth.
Weekly: clean the water tub and tubing
- Wash the parts with warm water (not exceeding 131°F/55°C) and mild soap.
- Rinse thoroughly under running water.
- Air dry away from direct sunlight.
If you prefer to let your dishwasher do the work, pick up the Air10 Cleanable Water Tub, which is top rack dishwasher safe.
Can I add oxygen to the AirCurve 10 ASV?
Yes, you can add oxygen to the AirCurve 10 ASV using the ClimateLineAir Oxy Heated Tube.
Is the myAir app required to use the AirCurve 10 ASV?
The myAir app is an optional resource designed to help you stay on track with therapy and is not required to use the BiPAP machine.

My mother suffers badly from complex sleep apnea. When treated on auto cpap, the AI was more than 40, and she felt insomnia, sweating a lot and serious fatigue, actually she was dying. Now under this ASV auto mode, the AI has reduced to 9, and she says she can sleep for quite a while, and she can go out for a walk again. Thank you all the staff who sell this machine to me, Laura and Pam, and also thanks to ResMed--a great life saving company.
this machine was ordered by my current healthcare provider. Respshop did not provide me the machine but i thought this would help others
